NCLT Approves Merger of Viacom 18, Star India After CCI Nod The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on Friday approved a merger scheme that will allow Viacom 18 Media with Star India. The merger of Reliance Industries and The Walt Disney Co's media assets was approved earlier this week by the Competition Commission of India and will create the country's largest media empire.
