AI Must Be Regulated to Avoid Hurting Growth, National Security Risks, US Chamber of Commerce Says Artificial Intelligence, or AI, should be regulated to avoid hurting growth or becoming a national security risk, the US Chamber of Commerce said on Thursday. In a departure from the lobbying group's usual stance against regulation, the US Chamber of Commerce has called for the development of flexible, industry-specific guidance and best practices for AI regulation.
