Twitter Confirms It Intentionally Blocked Access for Third-Party Apps Like Tweetbot, Twitterrific Twitter has finally confirmed that its move to block third-party apps like Tweetbot and Twitterrific was intentional. In a tweet, Twitter Dev account said that the Website was enforcing its “long-standing API rules,” which may lead to some apps not working.
