WhatsApp Begins Beta Testing Android Tablet Support, iOS Testers Get 'Search by Date' Feature WhatsApp has begun testing support for Android tablets on its latest beta version. Until now, users couldn't link their primary WhatsApp account with the messaging app on Android tablets and multi-platform support was limited to computers and iPads. A recent update, now out for beta testers, will let select users access their existing account on an Android tablet.
