TSMC Planning Advanced 3nm Chip Production at New US Factory, Founder Says TSMC is planning to manufacture advanced 3nm chips at the company's new factory in the US, according to the company's founder Morris Chang. The chipmaker is Apple's largest supplier and the world's largest contract chipmaker. TSMC's founder said that the 3nm plant would be located at the same Arizona site as the 5nm plant.
