Twitter-Elon Musk $44 Billion Takeover Trial Still on Track, Set to Start on October 17, US Judge Says Twitter's lawsuit against Elon Musk is set to begin on October 17, the US judge presiding over the trial has stated. Neither Twitter nor Musk have asked the court to put the case on hold, Judge Kathaleen McCormick said in a ruling, adding that she will reserve judgement on the matter until after the trial, when she has "a fuller understanding of the record."
