Tesla Set to Unveil 'Optimus' Robot For Factories on Company's September 30 'AI Day' Tesla is set to unveil its Tesla Bot or Optimus humanoid robot, on the company's upcoming AI Day that is celebrated on September 30. The robots will be eventually be deployed in the company's factories, while CEO Elon Musk hopes they can later be used in homes for various purposes including making dinner, mowing the lawn and caring for the elderly people.
