Google Removed Over 1.11 Lakh Harmful Content in June Under New India IT Rules Google has acted on 1,11,493 harmful pieces of content in June of this year in accordance with the new India IT Rules, 2021. The removed content included categories like copyright infringement, trademarks, court orders, explicit sexual material, fraud, and others. The actions were taken as a result of automated detection mechanisms used by Google's SSMI platforms.
