Google to Face $1 Billion Class-Action Lawsuit in the UK Over Play Store Pricing Google is set to face a $1 billion (roughly Rs. 8,000 crore) trial in the UK in a class action lawsuit that alleges the company overcharged 19.5 million customers for in-app purchases via Google Play. A court authorised the lawsuit on Monday, over the commission charged on popular apps including Roblox, Candy Crush Saga and Tinder since October 2015.
