WhatsApp Disables Automatic Saving of Media to Gallery or Camera Roll for Disappearing Chats WhatsApp has disabled automatic saving of media to the camera roll or gallery in disappearing chats on iOS and Android. The service says images, videos, and other media will not be saved to the gallery automatically when disappearing messages are enabled. Users can still manually save media, or disable disappearing messages.
