Twitter Said to Hide Tweets Embedded on Websites After Deletion by Original Author Twitter has changed how tweets are rendered on external websites. The company now hides embedded tweets on websites after they have been deleted. Instead of seeing the text of the deleted tweet, users will now see a blank box on these websites. Twitter has confirmed the change is intentional, “to better respect when people have chosen to delete their tweets.”
