Google Self Share Feature Spotted as Nearby Share Update, Will Make Sending Files to Yourself Easier: Report Google is reportedly working on a new update on the Nearby Share feature to allow users to send data across their own devices. The feature known as Self Share will eliminate the practice of sending files to your own email or uploading them to cloud storage. The company launched the Nearby Share on ChromeOS and Android as a rival to Apple’s AirDrop.
