Microsoft to Join Metaverse Race, Announces Mesh for Teams With 3D Avatars Microsoft at its Ignite conference announced the launch of Mesh for Microsoft Teams. With the new technology, users will be able to create their animated avatars for online meetings. It will allow Teams users to be present in virtual meetings without having to turn on their webcams.
