Stranger Things Season 4 to Set Up ‘Definite’ Ending, David Harbour Says Stranger Things season 4 will set up Netflix series for a “clear, clean, specific and definite ending”, David Harbour said. Harbour teased a rebirth for Hopper, à la Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings. Stranger Things 4 filming wraps up in August; release expected in 2022 on Netflix.
