Google Fined EUR 100 Million, Amazon Fined EUR 35 Million by French Watchdog CNIL for Breaching Cookie Rules France's data privacy watchdog CNIL has handed out its biggest-ever fine of EUR 100 million (roughly Rs. 900 crores) to Google and EUR 35 million (roughly Rs. 300 crores) to Amazon for breaching the country's rules on online advertising trackers, or cookies.
