Japan's NTT to Invest $560 Million in NEC to Catch Up in 5G Race Japanese telecoms company Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) will invest JPY 64 billion ($560 million) in NEC to beef up efforts to develop fifth-generation (5G) wireless technologies, the two firms said on Thursday.
