WhatsApp Rolls Out Voice Chat Feature for Less Disruptive Group Calls: How It Works WhatsApp is rolling out voice chats, a new feature that makes group calls on the messaging service less intrusive. Instead of ringing members' devices, voice chats will be less intrusive and allow group members who are in a conversation to perform other tasks on the messaging app. The feature will be available to groups with more than 33 members.
