Facebook Improves Automatic Alt Text for Visually Impaired Users, Now Recognises Over 1,200 Concepts Facebook has announced improvements for its Automatic Alt Text (AAT) system. It will now be able to identify activities, landmarks, types of animals, and more. The tech giant said in a blog post that the improved AAT recognises over 1,200 concepts, that is 10 times more than what it could identify when it was launched in 2016.
